I am a Seattle native who graduated from Garfield High School (go Bulldogs) and later Stanford University. After college I worked in the wine industry in Napa, CA before following my dream to become a doctor to Minnesota. While at the University of Minnesota Medical School I extended my training to work at the Center for Sexual Health in the field of LGBTQ+ healthcare.
I have always enjoyed working with people to understand the complexities of their lives and Psychiatry was a natural fit. While in Adult Psychiatry residency at the University of Minnesota I discovered a particular passion for working with children & teenagers as well as their families. I enthusiastically returned to the Pacific Northwest to complete specialized training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Washington/Seattle Children's Hospital.
I currently work as an Attending Psychiatrist at Seattle Children's Hospital and an Acting Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Washington.
